In order to expand our soldering capacities, we have put another Asscon vapor phase soldering system of the latest generation into operation in our clean room.
Vapor phase technology is achieved by condensing a medium with a defined boiling point. Thanks to the self-regulating heat distribution of the condensate, the assemblies are brought to soldering temperature safely and reproducibly with virtually no temperature differences. This ensures uniform heating of the entire assembly, even with different components and masses, as well as an oxidation-free soldering process without the additional use of shielding gases.
Depending on the product requirements, linear or ramp profiles can be selected. During the soldering process, the melting of the solder is registered by an automatic melting point detection system and the formation of cold solder joints is effectively prevented. The intelligent system control ensures constant process sequences at all times.
