Our latest highlight in production is the Serio 4000 stencil printer from EKRA, which is now being used in our cleanroom. The Serio 4000 can be used on a wide variety of substrates, thereby increasing our printing capacity. In addition to detecting low-contrast registration marks and substrates, the new stencil printer offers the option of integrated 2 1/2 D print control. This checks the position and quality of the solder paste deposits. A special feature here is the qualified feedback on the printed volume and recognition of any differences in the height of the depots. In addition, the underside of the stencil is automatically checked for contamination and cleaned if necessary. This is a valuable quality assurance measure for increasingly fine structures.
